This year’s Pre-Conference Workshop is moving to Saturday! The National Institute for Leadership and Organizational Development (NILOD) will be facilitating a four-hour course on building trust and its role in coaching and mentoring. The session will be held Saturday, October 20th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm and the cost for the course is $325. The course includes an individual behavioral assessment with a personalized results report and lunch prior to the start of the session.
In our roles as academic surgical administrators, we are expected to support, lead, and mentor a variety of colleagues; whether direct reports, peers, or even supervisors, the ability to influence and guide others is critical to our success. This year, the National Institute for Leadership and Organizational Development will be helping participants in the Pre-Conference Workshop learn approaches to build trust amongst co-workers and to share strategies to help translate that trust into effective coaching and mentoring. As part of the Pre-Conference Workshop, participants will have the ability to complete a comprehensive individual assessment that will give each attendee an opportunity for self-learning and will ensure that the application of tools and strategies learned in the session will be both personalized and effective. Spots are limited, so register early and reserve yours today!
