The Society of Surgical Chairs and the Association of Academic Surgical Administrators will host their annual joint session on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Washington, D.C. “How I Built Something I’m Proud Of,” will spotlight real-world examples from Chairs of Surgery and Surgical Administrators who built a program they are particularly proud of across one of our missions---clinical, research, or education—often amid complexity, resistance, or limited resources. Panelists will share what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons learned along the way. We are seeking stories that go beyond theory and focus on practical leadership, partnership, and execution. Submissions from both Chairs of Surgery and Surgical Administrators are encouraged.

Submission deadline is March 31.
