These scholarships are intended to support individuals whose attendance will benefit both their current roles and future career goals. Two scholarships will be awarded, each covering the full conference registration fee. This is a great opportunity to attend a premier event and connect with peers. <title>Call for Session Proposals: 2026 Annual Conference</title>

<description><![CDATA[<p style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">The <b>Association of Academic Surgical Administrators (AASA)</b> is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 39th AASA Annual Conference, to be held in Washington, DC from <b>Saturday, September 26 through Monday, September 28, 2026</b>.</span></p><p style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;">We welcome a broad range of proposals that support leadership development, finance and administration, and advancement of the clinical, research, and education missions within surgical departments. <description><![CDATA[<p><b>Call for Panelists – “How I Built Something I’m Proud Of”</b></p> <p>The Society of Surgical Chairs and the Association of Academic Surgical Administrators will host their annual joint session on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Washington, D.C.&nbsp;<b>“How I Built Something I’m Proud Of,”</b>&nbsp;will spotlight real-world examples from Chairs of Surgery and Surgical Administrators who built a program they are particularly proud of across one of our missions---clinical, research, or education—often amid complexity, resistance, or limited resources. Panelists will share what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons learned along the way. We are seeking stories that go beyond theory and focus on practical leadership, partnership, and execution.
